Pop Top Crafts

Tie this little flower to a ring, pin it to your clothes or combine it with Charmed to create a necklace.

16 inches of quarter-inch wide ribbon, four pop tops and yarn needle

Make an “L” shape with two pop tops held top side up so that the bottom hole of the vertical pop top and the left hole of the horizontal pop top match up. Thread ribbon onto yarn needle and up through the shared bottom/left hole until only a few inches of ribbon hang out the bottom.

Thread ribbon up through the shared hole again and pull tight.

Hold a third pop top vertically, top side up. Thread ribbon up through the top hole. Now all three pop tops have holes lined up.

Thread ribbon up through all shared holes and pull tight.

Hold a fourth pop top horizontally, top side up. Thread ribbon up through the right hole so that all four pop tops have holes lined up.

Thread ribbon down through the top hole of the first pop top (bottom of stack, top of design), then up through the shared hole. Pull tight. You may need to repeatedly straighten pop tops into a flower shape as you go.

Thread ribbon down through the right hole of the second pop top (right of design), then up through the shared hole.

Thread ribbon down through the bottom hole of the third pop top (bottom of design), then up through the shared hole.

Thread ribbon down through the left hole of the fourth pop top (top of stack, left of design).

Tie both ribbon ends in a double knot underneath the flower.

Thread both ribbon ends up through the shared hole. Trim ends.
