Rainbow Bracelet
Materials
measuring tape, scissors, eighth-inch wide ribbon in four colors and approximately 42 pop tops
Step 1
Cut all four colors of ribbon 18 inches long.
Step 2
Fold first ribbon in half and knot one inch away from the fold. Repeat with other ribbons.
Step 3
Hold pop top horizontally, top side up with your first ribbon. Thread the first, left side end down through the left hole.
Step 4
Thread the second, right side end up through the left hole. Push pop top snugly against knot.
Step 5
Hold a second pop top horizontally, top side up and place it so that the left side of the second pop top overlaps the right side of the first pop top.
Step 6
With the second ribbon, thread the first, left side end down through the shared hole.
Step 7
With the second ribbon, thread the right side end up through the shared hole. Push pop top snugly against knot.
Step 8
Hold a third pop top horizontally, top side up and place it so that the left hole of the third pop top underlaps the right hole of the second.
Step 9
With the third ribbon, thread the first, left side end down through the shared hole.
Step 10
With the third ribbon, thread the right side end up through the shared hole. Push pop top snugly against knot.
Step 11
With the fourth ribbon, thread the first, left side end down through the far right hole.
Step 12
With the fourth ribbon, thread the second, right side end up through the far right hole. Push pop top snugly against knot.
Step 13
Hold a fourth pop top horizontally, top side up. With the first ribbon, thread the left side end up through the left hole.
Step 14
With the first ribbon, thread the right side end down through the left hole. Tuck pop top snugly on top of the first pop top and under the second.
Step 15
Hold a fifth pop top horizontally, top side up so that the left hole overlaps the right hole of the fourth pop top. With the second ribbon, thread the left side end up through the shared hole.
Step 16
With the second ribbon, thread the right side end down through the shared hole. Tuck pop top snugly on top of the second pop top.
Step 17
Hold a sixth pop top horizontally, top side up so that the left hole underlaps the right hole of the fifth pop top. With the third ribbon, thread the left side end up through the shared hole.
Step 18
With the third ribbon, thread the right side end down through the shared hole.
Step 19
With the fourth ribbon, thread the left side end up through the far right hole.
Step 20
With the fourth ribbon, thread the left side end down through the far right hole. Tuck pop top snugly on top of the third pop top and under the second.
Step 21
Repeat steps 3-20 until your accessory is the desired length and knot ribbons to hold pop tops in place. Tie on by slipping the loose ends through their corresponding loops and knot. Trim ends
