Materials
scissors, eighth-inch wide ribbon and two yarn needles
Step 1

Step 2
Thread one end of your ribbon through a blue yarn needle and the other end through a green yarn needle.
Step 3
Hold your pre-made accessory vertically with the loop at the top.
Step 4
Insert the blue, left side needle down through the left hole of the second pop top continuing down through the left hole of the first pop top.
Step 5
Insert the green, right side needle down through the right hole of the second pop top continuing down through the right hole of the first pop top.
Step 6
Insert blue needle up through the right hole of the third pop top continuing up through the right hole of the second.
Step 7
Insert the green needle up through the left hole of the third pop top continuing up through the left hole of the second.
Step 8
Insert the blue needle down through the left side of the fourth pop top, continuing through the left hole of the third pop top.
Step 9
Just like lacing a shoe, make an x with your ribbon by inserting the green needle down through the right side of the fourth pop top, continuing through the right hole of the third pop top.
Step 10
Repeat steps 4-9, substituting pop tops 1-4 with pop tops 5-8. When you reach the end of your accessory, adjust ribbon and knot at end.
